Done with a short break !

Been a long time blogging... Well, back with a new avatar... Long weekend, thanks to the political leaders :).. Super Saturday with a hectic trek and lovely match between Germany-Argentina... The Young German boys thrashing royally the (A)rgentine Men ! :) Felt bad for the Africans who ended up in the losing side in the other Quarters.

Sunday, time for some cricketing action! Played after a long time... Last appearance, achieved a wonderful milestone against a corporate team.. my first genuine 5-For in a game... 4-2-15-5! Continued the same momentum yesterday too!

Though the weekend was tiring - after effects of Trekking, had a wonderful time... 7:30 on a saturday morning, Bangalore's stupendous weather... started off the day with my favorite song from Singam! Scorpio, friends, breeze, song and weather... a great feeling it was. Reached the place after travelling for about 2 hours. After Lord Narasimhar's Darshanam (an Udhbhava Murthy), it was the beginning of the pulls and cramps. Savanadurga, a single rock for trekking, took almost 2 hours to reach the peak - the statue of Basavanna. The winds were so strong, it could even pull me off the ground for a second! WOO! Well, after few minutes of joy, we climbed down the hill, photo sessions, eatings etc etc etc... A good time but bad aches.. nevertheless enjoyed.. There is a saying, "To get some, you gotta give some"... :)

Cheers!

Cabana bola aana aana...

After a tiring week and a dull practice session for me on the Sunny Saturday. To have a chilled out Sunday, we made plans to do something really interesting and freshning - Time to Say Go Cabana ! 28th Mar 201, the day of BBMP elections, most important than the outing ;). 10 big time sport crazy guys started off for the adventure after completing the right of being the citizen of the Country.

It was 10:15 when we started, delayed by an hour :) picking up guys on the way and thanks to New Airport Road traffic which made us reach the place at 11:10.

The first thing which each of us was a breakfast and the last thing we want to know was that the "Breakfast is closed". God! We got pooris' finally with handful of saagoo. Had our favorite coffees and teas and left for the starter - adventing ;)

I had great plans of playing cricket there, but later decided to play all other games available but for cricket ! :D We started with Tennis, which was the most fascinating and the highlight of the day ! :)

5 Teams - Fixture being - Round Robin - Each team face every other team once... Best 2 teams would challenge each other for the championship. Rules followed - Normal Doubles Rules and following the Badminton Pattern of scoring.

It was great fun! Sunil, the most targetted was hit with the tennis ball four times - unknowingly though ! ;) The under-dogs reaching the finals and the team with university level player being eliminated... Tinku Brothers losing without troubling minds to decide on the top 4 in the points table. Gaurav with wonder serves and Karthik with fabulous way of winning net-points. Ajit and Sunil being the most hilarious team among the 5 and finally Ajay and I, LoL ! Ajay was praying to not have me and him sharing the same side of the court, but the destine was different. :)

We reached the finals losing 1 game against the deadly combo of Gaurav and Karthik off the 4 in the league. We had to face them again in the finals. The script was changed, we had the momentum, leading them 6-0, but the tables were turned when Ajay lost his serve. We had a bad run of serves and recieves again... ending up in the losing side... we lost 9-11 against them. Even after losing, I guess Ajay now would be happy to share the court with me :).

Well that was the story of the likes of Paes and Bhupati combo who won the Runners. 'twas 2:30 at the end of play and we had to run for lunch and then had plans for a game of Bowling. Luck turned out the other way, we had to wait till 5:30 in the evening for our turn, so we decided to go splash into the Water World! Slides, Lazy River, Tubes, Wave Pool and Back massages... Aww !! it was stupendous! At about 5:30 we called off from the water and headed to have drinks break... Hi-Tea! Water Massage and Tea / Coffee, the feel was different and were relieved. Got ready for the bowling! Another big time losing game for me... I was challenged to score a hundered there at least and later learnt that it was only 5 games a person. Final decision the final score would be doubled. I had to score a 50 and I am known to score quickly. (You may look into my previous posts to know more). And I scored 63 off the 5 with 1 point behind the leader Suneeth. It was fun though :)

We thought of calling off for the day, but woo woo ... there was more to come... How could we leave without having our hand on the bat and ball... It was the time for CRICKET! 5 of were in Red Ts' and decided to play Reds against others. For a change, I captained my side ;) ... Thanks to AJ! :) I lost the toss and we were put to field under the dimming lights. 5 Overs a side. Out after being caught with one hand - 1 pitch from the bat - a special rule. Was set a target of 22 from 5 overs. We got a great start from the Gopura Baay Ajit but faded as the lights faded. We lost by 3 runs at the end. An experience of being a captain of a team after a long time... Was made to talk post match.

Ajay: "How are you feeling after your first loss?"
Sudu: "I thought it was only one team that played with the Spirit and it us" ;)
Ajay: "Right helu magane!"

LoL ! ;) and at this note... From the Presentation Area, this is Sudarshan saying See ya! Have fun and more to come ;)

Giggling ??

5 Blogs in Feb at once and just 1 in March ! God I am going back to my norms ! Well I am back here ..

This time sharing my experience while travelling back home from office with all darkend night with the glow of the moon and shining stars over the head and cab mates around. It was around 10:15 in the night travelling on the great road of Electronic City thinking about something that was never existing and suddenly something flashed my mind and I went back to the past. Full flashback story. It will always be that FLASHBACK stuff that makes you GIGGLE and you have no care about who is around and that happened to me then...

Despite having Alumni Meet every year and other meets amongst the pals every now and then, that does not and cannot fill in the classroom funny things done. I just loved one incident that happened to me when in class and sharing it here.

It was when I was in the 4th Sem that was when we had our last touch on the favorites of most - Mathematics. :) Post lunch session Math class.. Full Love for sleep. We had the privilege to have one of the best lecturers for a part Math. This is how it usually works in the study system and esp. Engineering. Several Parts of a subject and each part will be handled by a staff. So, we had our lecturer giving notes for every single topic that we had in the part. I honestly dont remember what part she was handling in that period. Well, as we were taking down the notes, there was one point which really seemed to be interesting to me happened to be told. She [Lecturer] usually have the beat marring habit round the class while dictating and was having her rounds then too. She said "where n=10" kind of statement and apparently meant 'n' and not 'N'. Dictating continues... "Small n = 10 .... " .. The next moment, instead of continuing with the notes, I felt something felt on my head, that actually was a wake up call sounding like "Wake up Sud! Wake Up!" that was a bang on head by my lecturer with the book she had ... God ! that was our Math text book! :| I was wondering why that happened to ME ! :P I was said to be the most quitest guy in class after our Venku mama! I then realised, it was not because I of my talkings and walkings in class, but I had written "Small n = 10". "Post lunch effect" :)

LoL! Those were the days ! :) Seriously never mind giggling for such incidents... Have Fun !

Cheers!

100 in Bowling Eludes Me.. hmm... Do I elude a 100 rather ? :)

Last weekend I spent was quite amazing, time pass you can say. Had been out for lunch on Saturday, watch some movies on TV, played cricket on my comp and suddenly I get a call from my friend screaming loud, "Leave now.. We are going out!". At 8:30 in the evening! :| .. Well, I got ready, dropped my mom back home from granma's place and left. We had plan for bowling at the brand new Amoeba raised at Jayanagar.

I first started bowling frequently at Leela - I scored a 91. You know how it is, friends around scoring 100s' within no time, and I finish the table with 91 is quite a chance for me getting squashed all around! :D Next chance for me to score was at Planet X, Mysore ! I was so consistent, I scored another 90 ! It was a train of 90s' from then! The visit to the alley is reduced by a huge rate. A day eventually occurred when we just changed plans going to Amoeba Churchstreet instead due to non-availibilty of alleys at Leela. The plan change, changed the destiny of the scores ;). We had a double round session and I finally scored hundreds in each game. We had AjitH who scored the highest of 153, almost twice, but missed out in the second with silly plays ;). He became the highest scorer in our group breaking Suneeth's record of 149.

Another day at Leela, another 90 for me. believe it or not, I scored 99! It was a time of fight for the top spot - The title of Championship, all between Ajit and Suneeth. Ajit had to retain the top spot or beat his own score, but Suneeth, was known for his aggression, he score 157! Top scorer again! After the fun, the talk of town was not about the top score, but the player of the day was ME - 99 ! I was like, "Gosh! not again!" :) Pradeep, known for his comeback... he scores 30s' in the first 5 games... and reaches 100 in the last 5! GOD ! How is this possible dude!!

I would have been to bowling for around 15 times now, and have scored 13 90s' till date and just the 2 odds.!! The picture says it all! 97 (27th Feb 2010)! We finally got a new champ, breaking 157. Chandru topped the table with 166 breaking Suneeth's record. He deserved to score this. He rocked the evening!

Chalo, waiting for Suneeth to get back home. March 12th he is here! btw.. Happy Birthday Maga! The fight for the Championship begins again! :) Till then .. See ya !

Cheers!
Record holder of most 90s' scored! ;) \m/

Holi - The Festival of Colors

India known for its humungous festivals, is now celebrating one of its most beautiful festival - the festival of colors! Yes! It is time for summer out here in the sub-continent guys! Hot, humid and hehe sweat! :-)

This is festival is celebrated across India and at most in northern part of the sub-continent.

Having said it is the most freaked out festival, people use heavy colors spray upon each other, esp the young kids. Love to watch them play. :-) I enjoy watching them enjoying, I am not comfortable with dark, heavy, short permanent color! I had an expression which was something more than just a shock where school kids used eggs and tomatoes as part of colors throwing and hitting at eachother... I mean KIDS!

To confess, I did exchange colors as a young boy, it was not more than just red, blue, orange powder. Later exchanged just a TILAK for the sake celebrating, we call it SHASTRA GOSKARA in kannada ;-) and now not bothered about it too. Got to say something bothering about! These days people use kind of gadgets to hit eachother and that is difficult to handle!

I am off now to continue watching the silver, green, red, blue faces with all other extra stuffs! And you enjoy in your way! ;-)

This reminds me about a song in hindi - "Rang bharse bheege chunarwaali.. Rang Bharse... HOLI HAIN!!!!" ;)

Happy Holi to all my friends in India and rest of the world missing the home food!

Cheers!

Aww ! Victim of Nostalgia! :D

1VE03CS045! How can I forget that ever! :) There is a word called "HOPE" in english... everyone should be knowing this... and I became a part of 1VE03CS0-- with a pinch of HOPE in me that I would do something better than what I did in my past..! Well ... I started off doing good ;) ... being a part of 1VE03CS0-- !

First bench pressures! Come late the first day... you lose the first bench...This is what I learnt when I was doing my PU ... I had the same strategy... run to college! as usual.. thanks to BMTC.. i reached at 9:05AM and thanks to the security we were let in ! Permanently sat in the 3rd bench ! :D

Notes... internals... Fights for SILLIEST reasons on earth ... :D .. CRICKET... LABS !! and yeah... the best of the pals :) The nick names we had ... God ! I still cant forget THAT dumb personility development session we had .. Prometric Test! The most dumbest session AT LEAST FOR ME !

Hmm ... As I said, I "HOPED" more as the days passed by... exams .. I Hoped to complete the syllabus.. I HOPED to have everything not lost from my mind that I studied... I HOPED for the easiest papers... I HOPED I could complete 100 marks.. I HOPED that I get good marks ... and finally ... I HOPED to be happy ! I am fulfilled with all the things ...

And now I AM still HOPING that all my friends who is a part of 1VE03CS0-- will be friends forever! There may be fights... misunderstanding and what not and what all... HOPE we forget those bad times and be good as always!!

I HOPE you like this !

Shocker !!!

Weekend special ! After a tiring week, saturday got sometime for sleeping... but that wasnt good though :( more time I sleep, I get real bad head ache... nevertheless, got up switched on the TV ... channel surf... Sun TV ... PANCHATHANTIRAM !!! :O Woooo !!! God ! I have watched it 100 times or so... a wonderful movie .. couldnt watch that completely... went out ... had good time going out for lunch with best of my friends !

When I came back, was keen to know the score... South Africa were rocking ! Hashim Amla came back into playing scoring another 50+... Kallis had got a steady start... You know how it is... :) I preferred watching India bat rather than the visitors :):) so switched the channel... had never watched a kannada movie called "Devatha Manushya" but had heard about it and moreover, it was our Annavru's picture ;)... Lovely songs.. .great acting .. good theme... liked it...

There were plenty of commercials you see... and you know how it is ... it was "PLENTY" and were same set of ads ! :| ... As I saw, it was a shocker, I was wondering what I just saw was truth ... and it was true ! An ad in which the 2 leading detergent producers being compared directly...! Rin was compared with Tide without being censored!! It was very demoralizing ... This was the 1st ever time ads of such type was produced... Very bad and very unprofessional ! Rin being alive for more than several decades, doing such kind of acts is seriously unbelievable and unacceptable! :(

Anyways... hope the censor board take some action on this ...

Hmm... okayz.. more to come ... Take care.. see ya .. Happy Saturday!

World's Run Machine

Machines are forcibly movable..! In this very world there exists one Machine, moving without any external pressure.. This Machine has Life and has billions and trillions of lives following - The Human Run Machine - Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar!

20 Years of Cricket is quite a lot of thing! It is HUGE... The Master Blaster has today (24th Feb 2010) created a History again! Every run he scored is a record and now has reached the Biggest Milestone in the History of Limited Overs International - The Lone Human to score a Double Hundred having a strike rate of over 135!

I was at work when I was following the scores via the internet pretty sure to have India scoring huge! The aggression the Little Master displayed was heating up Gwalior..! When he surpassed his own highest LOI score, I decided, I will be witnessing the World Record! A boundary then took him 190s'... And then you know.. It is all in the Indian Batting Style from Kapil pa ji, Sanjay Manjrekar, Sachin's best pal Vinod Kambli, Sunny Gavaskar, Our very Own Wall - everyone has the tendancy to score at less rate in the 40s', 90s', 140s'etc etc etc... It took an over for him to reach the Milestone... 195*! When he was at 193*, he flicked towards the fine leg area and that was the time... The 13 year old record was broken ! I ran to the cafeteria leaving everything on the desk scattered! Was waiting for THAT moment.. which could take another decade for it occur again! The double hundred ! 196* He was when I started to watch... His Captain rocked the ground! Smashing every corner of the stadium... Couple of huge ones... Waiting for Master to take strike... Finally ending up with a single of every last ball of the over... Cursing Dhoni.. "THU TERI KE !!!" :D :D! Finally, after A LONG WAIT of 4 COMPLETE Overs, 49.4 made the difference! :) Sachin scores a DOUBLE HUNDRED ! WOOOO!!! Whistles and Shouts ... Roars and Tears of joy all around ! :) What an Inning !

There were certain questions that were running in my mind... I was looking for meaning of some of the words in English, COMMITMENT, FLAWLESS, RESPONSIBILE and MINDBLOWING and that is "Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar" !

If you want another double hundered in an LOI format... It is only Sachin who can give you!!

All Hail the King of Cricket! All Hail Sachin Tendulkar!

Cheers!

Vijay's Killer Thriller

Joseph Vijay, popularly and most lovingly named as Taladalapathy, a leading actor in Tollywood. After a series of remakes and negative critisms has come up with a "time-pass" and a wonderful performed movie recently called Vetaikaran opposite the Arundathi lady - Anushka.

Vijay (Police Ravi) a big time fan of a Real Hero in Tamil Nadu, and encounter specialist Devaraj, comes to Chennai from his home place Tuticorin for his studies after clearing his 12th Standard. Surprised? :) He looks the same ... no PAA effects in the movie :) ... He has failed in the 12th standard for 4 years .. following the foot steps of his hero.!

Goes to Chennai to the same college Devaraj studied. As a typical movie, no money takings from parents, starts off finding friends, becomes an auto driver to earn for the living [footsteps of Devaraj you see! ;)], advices to the lecturers etc etc etc...

Suddenly, a guy comes, does mischievous stuffs... Police Ravi gets angry gets his hands on him. He turns out to be the son of a big shot in Chennai - a big shot who never cares for anything ... has everyone from a school / college clerk to the highest ranked police officer ! Ravi fights the tough guy and proves himself tougher... Suddenly, a group of police officers reach the hostel room, picks Ravi ... puts him in the jail, big peopke .. big deals, swaps his file with a most wanted rowdy and try killing Ravi in an encounter. Ravi escapes - Courtesy (former) Encounter specialist Devaraj -- FORMER - Courtesy the big shot ... Vedanayaghan... Devaraj's family will be killed by VN for his patriotism and is made blind !

What next ???? Ahh.. this is enuf for me to give you a pinch of the movie... let me not kill the thiller! Please watch the mobie... A real good one if you are movie watcher for "Time Pass" :) ... Awesome performance by every actor in the movie... Lovely dialogues too... "Bhayam.. Vedhanaygan ana ... Bhayam!" (All Afraid of me..Vedhanayaghan)... and "Dai ! Manashak dhanda police teve... ne oru mrugum da... police pathadu... unukku... vere vere aal dhan da... Vetai vetai vetai ... Vetaikaran da pathu !!" ;) [Meaning... find it yourself this time.. :D]

More to come from me .. Keep looking at this area for THAT more!
